NICK WAKEFIELD JOINS ULTIMATE HIGH |

Ultimate High welcomes aerobatic ace Nick Wakefield to its team of flying instructors. Ultimate High is offering bespoke one-to-one training with Nick on the Extra300 aircraft to pilots wanting to improve their aerobatic skills and for competition flying.
Nick is a highly accomplished competition aerobatic pilot; he won the British Advanced Aerobatic Championships in 1992 and was a member of the British Team at the Advanced World Aerobatic Championships in 1999 and 2000, and at the Unlimited European Championships in 2002.
Nick started flying at the age of 17 when he was awarded an RAF Flying Scholarship, and while he was at Cambridge studying Engineering, he spent 3 years with the University Air Squadron flying Bulldogs; it was there that he acquired his taste for aerobatics. In 1995 he joined Brian Lecomber's famous Firebird Aerobatics team and spent 4 years flying the Pitts S2B and Extra 300L in solo displays throughout the UK. Today, Nick continues flying competition aerobatics in his Pitts S1T G-WILD.

| Flying the Press / TV Filming:
Our display pilots are extremely experienced in operating and dealing with the media as we often work closely with producers to create bespoke programmes. We have worked directly with many TV companies including the BBC, ITV (various channels), Nickelodeon, Nuts TV others.
We have on-board digital video recorders with camera mounts on the wings, nose, cockpit and tail-fin of the aircraft. The performance and agility of the Extra300 aircraft makes this a superb camera ship.
For newspapers, in the run up to an event, we can offer advance photo-news stories to all your local media. If required, we can also arrange press flying, including broadcast quality video that can be used directly by TV.
We can offer prizes which can be flown at our Advanced Flying Training Academy at Kemble.
