Insurance Discount for Advanced PPL graduates

FREE ADVANCED FLYING TRAINING!

Advanced Flying Training specialists Ultimate High have had insurance company recognition for the safety value of their Advanced PPL. Graduates of Ultimate High's Advanced PPL course can benefit from a 5% discount on their aircraft insurance, which for some aircraft owners will be enough to cover the training costs in just a few years.
Ultimate High Chief Pilot Charlie McIlroy, a former Lightning, Harrier and Red Arrows pilot as well as a current training captain on the Airbus A340, is delighted. "Every student that has gone through this training to date has ended up a more competent pilot, better equipped to make the right decision in difficult circumstances.  The 25-hour course (10 hours of flying) is tailored to each individual student, and focuses on improving handling and airmanship.  It includes a thorough investigation of low speed handling, real world stalling scenarios including stalling in steep gliding turns, sideslipping, large amounts of PFL and EFATO practice, and a big focus on airmanship and emergencies. There is no doubt that our graduates are more confident and safer pilots.  Students range from 800-hour IR rated pilots to newly qualified PPLs with a handful of hours."

Flying the Press / TV Filming:

Our display pilots are extremely experienced in operating and dealing with the media as we often work closely with producers to create bespoke programmes. We have worked directly with many TV companies including the BBC, ITV (various channels), Nickelodeon, Nuts TV others.

We have on-board digital video recorders with camera mounts on the wings, nose, cockpit and tail-fin of the aircraft. The performance and agility of the Extra300 aircraft makes this a superb camera ship.

For newspapers, in the run up to an event, we can offer advance photo-news stories to all your local media. If required, we can also arrange press flying, including broadcast quality video that can be used directly by TV.

We can offer prizes which can be flown at our Advanced Flying Training Academy at Kemble.
