Another Fleet Air Arm escapee, Sonic was fortunate enough to train with the RAF on JPs and Vampires before conversion onto the Hunter and operational service on the Navy's first nuclear capable strike aircraft, the Scimitar.
After leaving the Navy Sonic taught as a commercial and Instrument rating Instructor at Oxford Air Training School before moving on to flying a variety of airliners.
As with most of the Ultimate High team, Sonic has substantial aerobatics instructional experience including work with Alan Cassidy's Freestyle Aviation on the Pitts Special. Recent activities have included training a Formation Team and displaying an Me108.
