Instructor Pilot Recruitment (current or former RAF Pilots only)
We are often looking to recruit new instructor pilots if you meet all or some of the following criteria: - recent ex-RAF or current RAF - Extra300 flying experience or similar type - located less than 30 minutes' drive from Kemble
Here are a few reasons you might enjoy flying for us......
- Interesting flying with a lot of "hands on stick" time. - Fly with like-minded former military instructors. - "Friendly professionalism" flying style with focus on enjoyment. - Variety of flight profiles - Aerobatics, "Top Gun" tailchasing, Air Racing, Formation. - Same SOPs as used by the RAF. - Focus on FLYING - minimal nifnaf and trivia. - Company aircraft available at discounted staff rates. - Landaways/Away Day Weekends, for example at Newtonards, Guernsey, Jersey, Scotland, Silverstone, Devon etc. - Encouraging and supportive environment - Kemble ATC and management very much "on side". - Opportunity to mentor and develop low/medium hour PPLs to improve their flying skills.
Still Interested?
If you would like to be an instructor pilot with us, you will ideally need to be a former military pilot, preferably fast jet, with a CPL/ATPL and a full Civilian FI Licence with the Aerobatics restriction removed.
We can normally assist former military A1/A2 QFIs in obtaining civilian qualifications with minimal hassle and cost. You will usually need to contact PLD at the CAA to confirm your individual requirements.
Naturally, we expect you to have strong aerobatic, formation and upset recovery skills and a professional yet entertaining teaching style. We would also expect you to be able to fly for us at least one Saturday a month.
Please complete our application form if you would like to register your interest in flying for us, or if you have any further questions. |
