Although we do some flying during the winter months, please note that the chance of cancellation due to weather and airfield conditions is much higher.

If we have lots of rain at any stage, Goodwood Aerodrome may be closed / unsafe to operate due to waterlogging (the runways and taxiways are grass which can get very slippery).  For safety reasons, we do not fly when the grass runways are very wet and slippery, or when there are high crosswinds. Flights in the Extra 300 aircraft (Ultimate Aerobatics / Utter Nutter) are more affected by airfield conditions (and weather) than flights in the T67 Firefly aircraft.
