Fly, Wine, Dine

You should expect to be with us for between two and three hours.

You will be kitted out in a high quality military flying suit and then choose your call sign.

You will be given a detailed safety brief and taught how to fly the aircraft (yourself!).

At the aircraft, you will be shown the cockpit controls and receive another safety brief.

Our flight experiences are delivered as Air Exercise 3 of the PPL syllabus by qualified Flying Instructors, and include a safety brief and explanation of how the flying controls operate.  You will be shown how to fly the aircraft yourself under close supervision of your Instructor, even if you have never flown in a light aircraft before.

• You will sit side-by-side with your instructor.
• The T67 Fireflys will depart and return to the Aerodrome at the same time, and instructors will demonstrate close formation before giving you the opportunity to learn to fly the aircraft with incredible views of the picturesque countryside below.
• Time in the aircraft is around 40 minutes (25 minutes in the air).

Flights involving aerobatics and formation may involve greater risks than simple sightseeing trips, and guests will be required to sign a disclaimer to confirm that they understand and are comfortable with this. Ultimate High has flown 35,000 guests over 25 years with a perfect safety record.

The price includes:

• a bottle of Tinwood Blanc de Blancs or Brut for each couple. There will be a £5 supplement charge for the rose, and £10 supplement for their Blanc de Noir, payable at Tinwood.
• Sharing Board for two people (included in price):  Focaccia, Hummus, Grilled Vegetables, Smoked Trout.  Tinwood can provide GF bread, and a vegetarian option if required.

Guests are welcome to purchase additional food from the Tinwood Vineyard Kitchen which they can choose on the day.

Flights take place Monday-Thursday only (and Saturday at additional cost) April-October inclusive, other than on Bank Holiday weekends.

Flights are subject to weather and airfield conditions.

We will inform Tinwood that you are flying with us so that they can expect you.

Tinwood is open every day from 9am – 5.30pm (and until 8.00pm on Saturdays during the summer months).  You can arrive at any time for your wine and food.

There are also Vineyard Tours and Wine Tastings (at additional cost) at 12.00 and 3.00pm daily, with additional tours on Saturdays at 6.00pm in April-September.  You can pre-book your Vineyard tours or show up on the day.  Please contact Tinwood directly to book here.

Weight limit for the T67 Firefly is 17 stone.

Maximum height limit is 6ft 5″.

Minimum height is 5ft.

Minimum age 12.  No maximum age.
