ZERO GRAVITY SPACE FLIGHT EXPERIENCE
Ever wondered what it feels like to go into space? With our Space Flight experience, you’ll feel the 3G launch acceleration, marvel at weightlessness with Zero G, and experience the intense 4.5G deceleration on re-entry, just like astronauts do.
Guided by an ex-military instructor, you’ll encounter the forces of space travel without the expense of heading to the USA. As you rise out of your seat in Zero G, you’ll experience a sensation of floating, enhanced by watching a toy astronaut or foam ball float alongside you. Zero G can be experienced multiple times during the flight, with each session lasting up to five seconds.
Seated side-by-side with your instructor in the T67 Firefly, an ex-military training aircraft, you’ll also get the chance to pilot these forces yourself, making this space flight experience truly out of this world.
About the experience
What is included?
- You are kitted out with a military flying suit
- Choose your callsign name badge “Maverick” etc
- Detailed safety and flying briefing before your flight
- 1 family member/friend can come out to the aircraft with you to take photos
- The flight (see details below) – you take the controls yourself!
- Debrief with your instructor pilot after the flight
- Signed Flight Certificate detailing the G-Forces you pulled
- Opportunity to purchase a 360 degree video of your flight (price £59)

Arrival
You should expect to be with us for between two and three hours.
You will be kitted out in a high quality flying suit and choose your call sign.
You will be taught some of the background to space flight, and taught how to fly aerobatics (yourself!), and be given a detailed safety brief.
At the aircraft, you will be shown the cockpit controls and receive another safety brief.
The flight
You will sit side-by-side with your instructor.
Take-off and get to know the aeroplane: introduction to effects of controls – turning, climbing, descending.
Feel the same G-force acceleration that astronauts experience on lift-off from the launch pad (3G).
Replicate the sensation of being weightless (Zero G), exactly as astronauts would feel in orbit.
Gasp as your body weighs 4.5 times its normal weight as you simulate the forces on re-entry.
Enjoy the opportunity to replicate some or all of these forces yourself as you fly the aeroplane.
Time in the aircraft is around 40 minutes (20 minutes in the air)
AFTER Landing
Debrief with your instructor, including amount of G-force pulled and flight certificate.
Opportunity to purchase a 360 degree video of your flight.

Restrictions
Weight limit for the T67 Firefly is 17 stone.
Maximum height limit is 6ft 5″. Minimum height is 5ft.
Minimum age 12. No maximum age.
