Experience the thrill of air combat and aerobatics against an opponent – flying the aircraft yourself! Guided by an ex-military instructor, take off in close formation in a T67 Firefly, perform aerobatic manoeuvres to adapt to g-forces, then dive into tailchasing and air combat.
Get on the “enemy’s” tail, call “GUNS GUNS GUNS!” to secure your shot, then celebrate with a triumphant “Yeehah, Jester’s dead!” before a tower flyby.
You should allow to be with us between 2.5 and 3.5 hours.
You and your opponent will be kitted out in high quality military flying suits. You then choose your call-sign name badge (“Maverick”, “Iceman” etc) for the day.
At the briefing, you will be taught how to fly aerobatics and air combat manoeuvres. The briefing includes a detailed safety/parachute brief.
You are then ‘ready to walk; and will be matched into Top Gun “pairs” with your “opponent” guest.
You will be strapped into your parachute and then receive another aircraft safety brief.
Following the completion of your air combat mission, exit aircraft and talk about how great you were!
Debrief and review of your air combat results with your instructor, who will issue your flight certificate, including amount of G-force pulled and the number of “kills”.
There will be an opportunity to purchase a 360 degree video of your flight.
Flights take place late March-October inclusive, other than on Bank Holiday weekends and Sundays (subject to weather and airfield conditions).
SINGLETON BOOKINGS take place on Thursdays and Fridays or Saturdays (at additional cost). On these days we match you up with an opponent.
PAIRS BOOKINGS take place Monday-Thursday inclusive (or Saturdays at additional cost). Pairs bookings are not available on Fridays.

Weight limit for the T67 Firefly is 17 stone.
Maximum height limit is 6ft 5″. Minimum height is 5ft.
Minimum age 12. No maximum age.
