Your ex-military instructor will teach you how to fly a variety of extreme aerobatic figures (yourself!). Flying in the 2 seat version of the amazing Extra 300 aircraft, as flown in the Red Bull air races, you choose how far to push the boundaries and how much G-force to pull.

You can even experience the advanced aerobatics that we demonstrate at airshows throughout Europe. Flights are tailored to you; the trip is as wild, or mild, as you choose!

About the experience

  • You are kitted out with a military flying suit
  • Choose your callsign name badge “Maverick” etc
  • Detailed safety and flying briefing before your flight
  • 1 family member/friend can come out to the aircraft with you to take photos
  • The flight (see details below) – you take the controls yourself!
  • Debrief with your instructor pilot after the flight
  • Signed Flight Certificate detailing the G-Forces you pulled
  • Opportunity to purchase a video of your flight (price £59)
  • Free £50 voucher to give to a friend/family member, or to use yourself for another flight!

You should expect to be with us for between two and three hours.

You will be kitted out in a high quality military flying suit and then choose your call-sign.

You will be taught how to fly aerobatics aerobatics (yourself!), and be given a detailed safety brief.

At the aircraft, you will be shown the cockpit controls and receive another safty brief.

You sit in the front of the Extra 300 aircraft and your instructor sits in the back.

Take-off and ‘get to know’ the aeroplane: introduction to effects of controls – turning, climbing, descending.

Aerobatics – beginner and intermediate manoeuvres – demo’d by instructor.

You fly aerobatic manoeuvres yourself: loop, aileron roll, stall turn, barrel roll, Cuban 8, slow roll, vertical roll, derry turn etc.

Instructor talks through Return to Base.

Time in the aircraft is around 35 minutes (15 minutes in the air).

Debrief with your instructor, including G-force pulled and flight certificate.

Opportunity to purchase a video of your flight.

Flights take place Monday-Saturday inclusive (excluding Bank Holiday weekends) from late March-October inclusive.

Flights are subject to weather and airfield conditions.

Weight limit for the Extra 300 aircraft is 15 stone 7 lbs.

Maximum height is 6ft 4″.  Minimum height 5ft.

Minimum age 14.  No maximum age.

£525 for a weekday (Monday-Friday) – 1 person.

£895 for 2 people on a weekday (£155 saving) – NB guests fly one after another.

£575 for 1 person on a Saturday (we are closed on Sundays)
