FORMATION FLIGHT TRAINING at ultimate high
Ultimate High is widely recognised as THE UK FLYING SCHOOL to learn formation skills.
With many of our Formation Instructors having displayed in formation aerobatic displays around the world, including FOUR former Red Arrows team members, this is the place to learn and improve your formation skills. Our formation instruction covers complete beginners all the way up to pilots wishing to start flying formation air displays themselves!
Formation training with us focuses heavily on safety, including efficient breaks & rejoins, formation changes and treatment of emergencies.
Legally, all that is required to fly in close formation is the prior agreement of the aircraft commanders whilst on the ground. However, we strongly recommend that graduates of our formation training ONLY fly in formation either with other Ultimate High graduates or pilots who have received recognised formal formation training.
Untrained, unpractised, non-current formaton flying can be a very rapid route to collision.
