WHY TRAIN UPRT WITH ULTIMATE HIGH?
We are Europe’s longest established provider of Upset Prevention and Recovery Training (UPRT) solutions to help clients overcome the challenge of Flight Upsets resulting from Loss of Control in Flight (LOC-I), which is the primary cause of commercial aircraft accidents and fatalities. Our team is dedicated and passionate about improving aviation safety.
We offer tailored and turnkey UPRT solutions that incorporate academic, on-aircraft, and Flight Sim training packages. Our clients include some of the most renowned organisations in the aviation industry, such as Boeing, Rolls-Royce, easyJet, the AAIB, and multiple National Aviation Authorities worldwide.
As the longest standing and most experienced UPRT provider in Europe, we have played a vital role in enhancing industry standards. We were the sole UK representative on the EASA Rule Making Group on UPRT and were instrumental in developing the requirements that became mandatory with EASA FCL.745.A and FCL.015(e) on 20 December 2019.
We take pride in our impeccable record and reputation and have been invited to present and lead UPRT discussions in various seminars, conferences, regulatory workgroups, and presentations across the world.
Our satisfied clients’ testimonials speak volumes, with the vast majority of our Airline, ATO, Business Jet, NAA, and GA clients attesting to the Ultimate High UPRT Academy’s usefulness in their professional careers.
Our notable appearances include the International Flight Crew Training Conference at the RAeS, the EASA Safety Conference in Luxembourg, the International Pilot Symposium on Startle and Surprise in the Netherlands, the International Pilot Summit in Portugal, the Flyer European ATO Conference, the European Airline Training Symposium in Berlin, the ICAO UPRT conference in Ethiopia, and the EASA/CASSOA Flight Safety conference in Kenya..
UPRT FOR GENERAL AVIATION (GA) - PRIVATE PILOT (PPL) UPRT AT GOODWOOD
Our General Aviation (GA) UPRT training will make you much better prepared to avoid, recognise and recover from flight upsets. Your confidence will also be much improved.
Many GA pilots have little experience of flight outside the cruising performance envelope and are therefore most at risk of both not being able to avoid a flight upset in the first instance and may be poorly equipped to deal with loss of control in flight.
We offer a full day (2 flight) comprehensive course or a half day (1 flight) introduction to UPRT (which can also be used for your SEP Revalidation hour with an instructor).
Our GA UPRT Programme has featured in both FLYER and PILOT magazines. To see the FLYER video, please click here.

RECURRENT UPRT FOR INSTRUCTORS & PILOTS
All safety related flight training should be revisited regularly and the critical skills associated with UPRT should be treated in exactly the same way, as all skills degrade if not practised.
Typically UPRT delegates will return for a one day recurrent training session every 12 to 24 months. Annual Refresher Training for Flying Instructors is mandatory.
