ARE YOU AN UTTER NUTTER?!! This extreme flight is designed for the boldest thrill-seekers! Buckle into the world’s top two-seat competition aerobatic plane, the Extra300, and join an elite air display pilot for an experience that pushes flight performance to the very edge.
After a detailed safety briefing and introduction to flight controls, you’ll dive into an unforgettable sequence of manoeuvres. The journey begins with the Cravat, a vertical twist named after the tying of a bow tie. Then, you’ll tackle the Inverted Loop, flying a full loop upside down at -3G. Next comes the Ruade, a dramatic tail-over-nose tumble inspired by a horse’s powerful kick. From there, the stakes rise with the Inverted Push-up to Lomcevak, an intense tumble starting from an inverted climb. Finally, you’ll face the Mulleroid, a thrilling 6G pull followed by a series of negative flick rolls, ending in a dramatic downward spin.
Each manoeuvre adds to an experience that promises to be as thrilling as it is unforgettable.
About the experience
Prices
The price is £695 for 1 person or £1,195 for 2 people (save £195). Bookings for 2 people are flown 1 after the other.
Flights are available on WEEKDAYS ONLY (not weekends).
Availability
Arrival
You should expect to be with us for between two and three hours.
You will be kitted out in a high quality military flying suit and then choose your call-sign.
You will be taught how to fly aerobatics (yourself!), and be given a detailed safety brief.
At the aircraft, you will be shown the cockpit controls and receive another safety brief.
The flight
Take-off and get to know the aeroplane: introduction to effects of controls – turning, climbing, descending.
Fly a couple of Aerobatics manoeuvres – yourself.
Then it’s time for the challenge – can you handle THE BIG FIVE EXTREME MANOEUVRES? These will be flown by your instructor pilot.
Instructor talks through Return to Base.
Time in the aircraft is around 40 minutes (20 minutes in the air).
AFTER Landing
Debrief with your instructor, including amount of G-force pulled and flight certificate.
Write your name on our “Utter Nutter” board of fame – but only if you did all 5 extreme manoeuvres and didn’t chicken out.
