Joining instructions
Important information before you fly with Ultimate High at Goodwood
Please make sure that arrive at least 15 minutes before your allotted time as we will do the (group) briefing promptly at the time quoted. You should allow to be with us for 2.5-3 hours, and occasionally longer if we have a very busy day or are delayed for any reason.
Phone us on 01243 913 916 the afternoon before you are due to fly to check that all is going ahead as planned. Please still call even if the forecast looks good as the weather varies a lot around the UK. Do not set out without phoning us, particularly if you have booked accommodation.
Wear “sensible” flat shoes – trainers are ideal (we cannot fly you in flip-flops or high heels!). We will provide flying suits for you to wear over your clothes. If it is a sunny day, we recommend that you bring sunglasses.
We recommend that you do not fly on an empty stomach as you may then feel weak. Ensure you are well hydrated and eat something light a couple of hours before flying. Avoid strong tasting food & drink, particularly coffee, fried food and fizzy drinks.
Please note that the passenger weight limit in the T67 Firefly aircraft is 17 stone or 108kg and in the Extra 300 aircraft it is 15.5 stone or 98kg.
As we have a very high level of bookings at the moment, please give us at least 2 weeks’ notice if you need to change the date so that we can offer your slot to others on the waiting list. If you cancel within 1 week of your booked date, we will need to charge you a fee to reschedule, or you may forfeit your flight voucher completely.
Refer to the directions as to how to find us (as we are not signposted) and your sat nav may take you to the wrong side of the airfield if you just use our postcode.
We are located at Goodwood Aerodrome & Motor Circuit, Chichester, West Sussex, PO18 0PH. The entrance is on the EAST side of the Aerodrome off Claypit Lane.
Once at the Aerodrome, pass through the tunnel and follow the road round to the LEFT(signposted Goodwood Aerodrome). Follow the tree-lined road all the way to the end and bear left again and park (by the skidpan). We are in the small building on the right hand side as you face the skidpan.
